I watched a really nice hour-long documentary of the 2012 Olympics earlier in the week (here) and also some of the fantastically shot and edited highlights reel by the BBC (here) which reminded how inspired I’d been by the games. Since they took place, I’ve wanted to visit the park having not been lucky enough to get tickets in the ballot. That coupled with the fact I now live a few miles away and the brilliant weather meant I got the chance to go check it out this afternoon.
Whilst soaking it up as I walked around, I decided to take a few snaps with my iPhone, which quickly turned into a little project. Its no secret that I love pattern and symmetry in both a design and photography, so I made this my theme. Here are the best of the bunch, I shot and edited these all using an iPhone with VSCOcam.
Hope you like them and I recommend you visit the park, its ace!
